I spent several hours with these cattle last Saturday. The last time I was here the entire field was flooded and there were a couple of guys in the middle of it with waders and fishing poles.
I forgot to look closely but I believe this is an Oregon Ash.
These are gorgeous, I really love the top one!

I am a new painter.I have been taking watercolor classes for over a year at the Alexandria Virginia art Leaque,
I just started taking oil with a artist that likes to plain-air landscapes. I am going to be 70 in July,I’ve never had lessons before last year. I really respect your work and if I could learn to paint like you it would make me feel
Proud of my self. I also like the fact that you do all three watercolor, oil , and sketch. Also I love the colors
On your model boat. Thank you for your blog.

Patrick, thank you very much for writing and for your very kind comments. I hope you continue to enjoy painting and, although I’m flattered that you wish to paint like me, I hope you continue to paint like you.
Best wishes, Bill
